N.T. Wright Discusses Christian Virtue And Character Development

May 17, 2011

In this lecture, given at Trinity Western University, NT scholar, and former Bishop of Durham, N.T. Wright, discusses the development of Christian virtue and character. According to Wright, Christian virtue cannot be simply based on rules, though it also cannot merely be based upon our own free-spirited spontaneity. Rather, we must work, in the power of the Spirit, to have our hearts and minds transformed, so that Christian virtue becomes second nature to us. This was a helpful talk, and I definitely recommend checking it out.

This RC wishes to thank Bishop Wright for his splendid lecture. The Character Building Project presently has plenty of intentional thinking, homework and hard work so we are ready when it counts. May my readers thinking be transformed through the grace of the Holy Ghost.

Back to my Douhay Rheims to check out Romans and Galations.

    Thank you.
